Plant Outage Cleaner

PLANT OUTAGE CLEANER (temporary)
ABM Morris location @ 6500 N. Dresden Rd.

ABM is seeking a motivated, friendly team member who will perform general cleaning duties nuclear plant outages this position would be a temporary position.

Job description

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed
• Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
• Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs
• Might be doing firewatch, plant cleaning, and various duties required at the station

Qualifications: 

• Previous experience in janitorial or facilities maintenance preferred
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, including buffing and floor care
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Must be able to read, write speak and understand English. The ability to follow simple instructions and carry out routine assignments
• Must pass all site specific testing, including an alcohol and drug screening

Schedule work  5 to 7 days a week 10 to 12 hours shifts

Pay rate $19.00 an hour biweekly pay
