Deputy Sheriff
The Bureau County Sheriff's Office is looking for men and women with good moral character who are seeking an opportunity for professional growth in law enforcement and corrections to join our team.
The Sheriff's Office will be accepting employment applications for Deputy Sheriff through July 22, 2022.
Benefits include health, dental, and life insurance for employees, paid holidays and vacation, contractual raises and IMRF (Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund) pension. Current contractual starting salaries for Corrections deputy ($44,854) Law Enforcement deputy ($46,310).

All applicants must pass a written test as well as the Police Officer Wellness Evaluation Report or have a valid POWER test card.
