The City of Ottawa is seeking an Administrative Assistant / Receptionist
Duties will include, however are not limited to:
- Assist Mayor as needed with clerical duties
- Answer phones
- Assist incoming public; direct to appropriate person/department
- Assist with coordinating special events
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Five years of experience providing administrative support
- Must be able to handle all activities with confidentiality and work independently and efficiently with strong interpersonal skills
- Must have the ability to multi-task
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, Publisher, calendars
