Finance Officer
FINANCE OFFICER
The City of Peru is accepting resumes for a Finance Officer.
This position will be responsible for directing, planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the City's financial operations.
Individual will oversee and provide direct supervision over the finance department including accounts payables/receivables and payroll.
This position will also be responsible for preparing the annual budget, projected cash flow, and appropriation of annual expenditures as well as other duties that may be assigned.
Qualified individual will have a Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or financial related field and a minimum of three (3) years financial management experience (government preferred), strong leadership skills and the ability to direct and supervise department personnel.
Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
