City of Princeton Job Notice

The City of Princeton, Illinois seeks a Street Operator Level 1 with current and valid CDL driver license.

Position is full-time with an hourly starting rate set by union scale at $21.10/hr. and an excellent benefit package. The City seeks applicants with a high school diploma (or GED equivalent), CDL, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. on a routine basis. Must be able to work in both hot and cold temperature extremes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: street and lawn maintenance, load hauling, snow plowing, experience with storm sewer and catch basin repairs or construction, proficient operation of backhoe/end-loader, and operation of excavator. Experience in operation of a road grader is a plus. Must be available for overtime hours and emergency utility work when necessary.
