Church office supporting pastor and congregation and the first person to warmly greet members and visitors.
Proficient with Word, Excel, Quicken, bookkeeping and websites.
Ability to direct maintenance and repair contractors.
Organizer, Coordinator, Communicator.
15 - 20 hours per week. Position begins June.
Office Manager Scope of Duties
Maintain office equipment, order supplies.
Computer Programs: MS Word, Excel, Publisher - Quicken Financial - SquareSpace website - Servant Keeper Membership
Office Support: Coordinate with pastor and members to manage the daily activities. Coordinate with pastor, organist, and others for services including funerals, weddings, etc. - Coordinate outside groups using building.
Correspondence: Update website weekly. Receive and forward mail, voicemail, email. Respond as needed.
Using Word, Publisher and Excel: Prepare worship bulletins, reports, signs, posters, newsletters.
Building and Maintenance: Coordinate with Contractors for repairs and maintenance.
Financial: Using Quicken prepare checks for invoices/payroll. Prepare financial reports, worker's compensation audits, payroll information. Balance accounts, Verify deposits and take to bank.
Ministry Team Support: Prepare signs, posters, mailings, etc as requested. Order supplies as requested.
