The Township of OHara is seeking a motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Bookkeeper.
Responsibilities Include: Monthly account entries; Monthly reports including balance sheets and income statements; Preparing the general ledger; Accounts payable and receivable; Payroll; Bank reconciliations.
Qualifications as a Bookkeeper Include: Minimum 5 years experience as a Bookkeeper; Good communication skills; Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail; Proficient computer skills. Candidates with governmental accounting experience preferred. Pay, benefits and probationary period per union labor agreement.
