Receptionist

The Oregon Park District is accepting applications for two part time Receptionist positions.

One position requires approximately 18-24 hours weekly during the day, 2 alternating weekend shifts, and additional hours are available during the holiday seasons and employee vacations. The second position would require approximately 10 hours on weekends, with additional hours available seasonally. Hourly wage begins at $15.50/hr. Position includes facility pass family membership and family program/activity discounts.

Profile

The Oregon Park District is a parks and recreation municipality in Oregon Illinois.  The Oregon Park District was formed in December of 1966.  The Districts service area covers approximately 102 square miles serving over 7,000 residents.  The District’s primary recreation facility, the Nash Recreation Center, houses the administrative offices, as well as meeting rooms,  a gymnasium, fitness center and indoor pool.  The District owns or manages 10 Park Sites totaling 150 acres.

By a community-elected, five member, Board of Commissioners, each of whom serves four years.
