OSWEGO TOWNSHIP OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR 

(Reports to Township Supervisor)

 

Duties will include:

Oversite of all Township administrative office’s operations, including payroll, payroll report filings, monthly accounting functions, board reports, website maintenance, AR, AP, HR functions, act as FOIA officer and OMA agent, handle building maintenance and repairs, maintain all Township digital and permanent records per Local Records Act.  Know/be aware of all Township laws and duties to assist Township Board as needed.

 

Job requirements:

Proficient in QuickBooks, Outlook, Excel and Word.

BA degree required.  Accounting degree is preferred.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to problem solve and work with various personality types.

Strong organizational skills.

Multi-tasking capabilities.

About Us

Oswego Township occupies a 6 mile square plus additional land to the south of the Fox River in the northeast corner of Kendall County, Illinois.  It was established in 1849.  It is located at 41.693N. – 88.335 W. and consists of 39.9 square miles of which 0.7 square miles is covered by water.  The lands of the Township are drained by the Fox River and its subsidiaries.
