INFORMATION AND ASSISTANCE COORDINATOR
PART TIME -
PUTNAM COUNTY COMMUNITY CENTER
PCAS, Inc. DBA Putnam County Community Center (PCCC) is accepting resumes for a part-time Information and Assistance Coordinator position (26 hours/4 days per week).
Ideal candidate would be a team player with good interpersonal skills & comfortable with public speaking.
Associates degree preferred. Experience with Medicare/Medicaid and Older Adult services preferred. Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and computer skills.
The I&A position responsibilities will include:
- Working with older adults and disabled population at the center by phone and or in person.
- Educating clients and or their caregivers on benefits and services for which they are eligible for and assisting them with gaining access to those services.
- Conduct follow up calls to determine whether services have been received and the clients need have been met.
- Encouraging individuals to participate in senior programs offered at PCCC
- Documentation and organizational skills a must
