Customer Service Specialist
Shaw Media is looking to welcome a full-time Customer Service Specialist to help grow and retain our newspaper and digital news subscribers.
The coordinator will support marketing initiatives to retain print and digital subscribers, including regular reporting to track these initiatives and other key subscriber metrics.
About This Opportunity: The successful candidate will be willing to learn and become proficient in new systems, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a strong drive to achieve performance goals. The position will require a thorough understanding of Shaw Media’s print and digital offerings, as well as the markets they serve. Basic computer skills including use of Excel, ability to hear and communicate via phone, and use of email are required. Previous experience in a customer sales or retention role preferred. Hours of the position are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. This position offers an hourly base plus a generous commission plan.
