Part Time Park Ranger

PART-TIME PARK RANGER

The Village of Bourbonnais is accepting applications for the part-time seasonal position of Park Ranger.

The individual will report to the Assistant Administrator. Duties include providing on-site patrols of The Grove to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for patrons and to enforce regulations related to the use of the area, when necessary.

• Applicants must be 18 years or older
• High School graduate or GED equivalent
• Valid Illinois driver’s license
• Must successfully complete a fingerprint background check
• Must be able to pass a drug test

Prior facility or outdoor maintenance experience preferred. Previous park or general security experience preferred but not necessary. Wage: $15.00/hour.

Work is primarily outdoors in 4-hour shift segments, up to 16 hours per week. Weekdays, nights, weekends and event shifts available. Seasonal work begins Memorial Day weekend and runs through October.
