Summary
The Village of Minooka has an excellent opportunity for an administrative professional in the Public Works Department under the direction of the Superintendent of Public Works and the Assistant Superintendent of Public Works. Areas include Water Operations, Water Reclamation Operations, Streets & Alleys and Parks. This position will be full-time (40 hours per week, M-F 8am-4:30pm), at a $27.40 per hour wage.
Duties
The following duties represent a general range of assignment to the position but are not intended to define the limits of required duties. The Administrative Assistant shall assist with planning and administering ongoing public works tasks utilizing secretarial, clerical, and administrative skills, support public works staff to maintain quality, deadlines, productivity, work flow and cost effectiveness. Monitor budget expenditures for operational efficiency, along with monitoring compliance legislation with federal, county, and local law and regulations.
Requirements
This person shall have strong computer knowledge, good verbal and written communications skills. Work cooperatively and maintain effective working relationships to accomplish job requirements.
