The Whiteside County State’s Attorney’s office has an immediate opening for an Assistant State’s Attorney to work in the area of misdemeanor and traffic prosecution in the Sterling, Illinois, Courthouse.

Job duties include all aspects of prosecuting traffic, driving under the influence, and misdemeanor cases from charging decision through final disposition.

This full time position requires a self-starter eager to seek justice. 

Applicants must be currently licensed to practice law in Illinois.

Salary starts at $64,771.

Benefits include: accrued vacation and sick time, health insurance, paid Holidays, 3 personal days per year.
