Farm Director
WJAG radio in Norfolk, NE. is seeking a farm broadcaster to join our team.
The position is full time and is responsible for writing and delivering agricultural news and markets.
Duties include gathering and anchoring local-farm news on three stations, and updating our digital offerings.
This person will also serve as associate news director.
Qualifications: Experience in broadcasting is preferred, but not necessary. We will train the right person.
You must have a willingness to learn, and have strong digital/ social media skills, possess excellent written and communication skills.
There is a small amount of travel involved to cover local and area events.
Most days you will be working from our studios in downtown Norfolk, or from home if necessary.
Strong leadership skills are a must. We are looking for the person who will continue WJAG’s reputation of being a farm information leader in Northeast Nebraska.
